This item can't be upgraded at the Kiln regardless of the Gear Score. Search for any item on NWDB and you'll find a recipe with Matter, Matrix, etc if it can be upgraded.

dude wont drop me one above 650 so i cant even upgrade one i have 10 that are under 650 but they dont show up in the kilm

@Coco Dog order is always the same (game shows the wrong order sometimes; mostly when you don’t have all the perks visible).
Your craft mod will replace the perk bucket (random perk) though, even if UI wise it seems confusing.

seems like the perk order can be random? mine dropped in order of "random(keen) - enfeebling skewer - thwarting counter" so if the random perk is good and you can replace thwarting counter with the gypsum kiln its potentially BIS.

what is their reasoning for not letting us upgrade this it drops from a boss in the newest zone and you cant get it above like 650???
